
Jennifer Harsta
Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer Harsta, co-founder of Hardee Greens, is a North Carolina native and graduate of East Carolina University with a BFA in dance. After owning and operating a dance school in Wilmington, NC, she and her husband Roel moved to Bluffton in 2002 to raise their three sons. With a deep love for people and community, Jennifer has served in roles ranging from children’s movement and music educator to founding board member and fundraising chair for the Hilton Head Island Children’s Museum, and as a development specialist for Young Life’s Global Leaders Program.
Jennifer’s heart for faith, family, health, and service fuels her work at Hardee Greens. She is passionate about creating a local food system that supports farmers and brings fresh, nutritious produce to the Lowcountry. Her vision includes educational outreach to connect students of all ages, adults to kids, with hands-on learning at the farm. Outside of work, Jennifer finds joy in spending time with family in the kitchen or on the boat, home gardening, working out, and embracing a healthy lifestyle. Side Note: On Wednesdays and Thursdays and chef 911 calls, she is also the delivery girl for Hardee Greens to our restaurant customers!
